Guy Hanson Elected as New Chair of the Email Council for the DMA UK

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Return Path’s own Guy Hanson has just been elected as new Chair of the Direct Marketing Association’s (DMA) UK’s Email Council.

A highly respected and credible thought leader with 15 years of email marketing experience, Guy has been involved with industry bodies and associations for many years, serving as Chairman for the IAB’s Email Council in 2013-2014. The DMA UK Email Council seeks to champion email as an essential part of the greater marketing mix and an effective direct marketing channel.

A testament to Return Path’s subject matter expertise and thought leadership, Guy’s appointment will ensure that the best interests of email senders are represented on behalf of the 1,000 UK DMA member companies.

As previous DMA Email Council Chair myself, I cannot think of a better suited individual for this important and distinguished role and I trust that Guy will build on the continued progress the DMA has made to remain relevant to all marketers in an era of increasing focus on integrated, multi-channel, customer-centric marketing.

This is great news for Return Path customers, for the DMA, and their membership as well as the industry in general.
