New feedback loop helps senders improve reputation and USA.NET increase complaint handling efficiency

NEW YORKReturn Path, the leading email management company, has announced the establishment of a feedback loop for USA.NET, the nation’s premier provider of hosted email and messaging services.

Feedback loops provide qualified email senders with copies of all complaints sent to participating hosted email service provider and ISPs. This feedback from email recipients provides valuable insight into how a sender’s email is being received, and helps senders make lasting improvements to their email programs. USA.NET controls who is accepted to the feedback loop program, with Return Path maintaining its infrastructure.

Feedback loop offerings are a new feature of Return Path’s receiver services, in addition to Sender Score Certified and Sender Score Reputation Monitor for added filtering accuracy and white listing support.

“Feedback loops provide email senders with critical information about what is annoying their customers and subsequently damaging their email reputation,” says George Bilbrey, general manager and vice president of Return Path’s delivery assurance division. “We’re happy that we could help USA.NET expand its feedback services so that we allow both the sending community and a valued email service provider deal with complaints more effectively.”

Not all hosted email providers offer feedback loops because of the maintenance involved. USA.NET formerly had a small program open only to select enterprise users.

“Expanding our feedback loop services will help the sending community, and we hope in turn help our subscribers by reducing the amount of unwanted email they receive, thus further proving our commitment to operational excellence,” says Kathy Flannes, postmaster at USA.NET. “Having Return Path manage our feedback loop services allows us to provide a higher level of service to more senders, while limiting the resource needed by our staff.”

Senders can sign up for the USA.NET feedback loop at http://fbl.usa.net/ starting today.
