–Return Path, the leading provider of global e-mail deliverability tools and services, today announced the Sender Score Certified whitelist will be expanding to cover more than 1.2 billion e-mail inboxes. When legitimate, qualified e-mail senders send messages to ISPs and filtering companies that utilize Sender Score Certified, those e-mails will be given preferential treatment toward inbox placement.

Sender Score Certified bolsters consumer confidence that when signing up for an e-mail newsletter or e-mail communication from a company enrolled in the program, those e-mails will be successfully delivered and not misidentified as spam. Only highly-reputable organizations that have passed a rigorous screening process and maintain the highest industry standards with their e-mail programs qualify for Sender Score Certified.

While ISPs and other receivers continue to battle the onslaught of spam, large and small organizations often struggle to make sure consumers receive their e-mails and to prevent legitimate e-mails from being misidentified as spam. Sender Score Certified whitelist offers both ISPs and e-mail senders an indispensable tool in this ongoing struggle.
